Information about the Coronavirus
to employees and course participants
The coronavirus’s continued spread in Sweden and the outside world is causing concern. We at Wenell are closely following developments, and fully meet the authorities’ recommendations. In accordance with the current public health information, we are currently discouraging all employees from traveling to China, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Iran, Italy, and the Austrian state of Tyrol.
Employees who have traveled back from one of the affected areas and are experiencing illness symptoms in the form of fever, cough or respiratory distress are asked to contact the health care via telephone number 1177* and stay home for the first 14 days after arrival.
In the same way, we urge our course participants to act. If you have returned from any of the affected areas or been in contact with any infected person, you should wait 14 days before attending any of our courses.
Should you have to give up an education because of this, we will of course offer you to take the same course at a later date.
Contact our Course Administrator and we will help you to solve the situation in the best way.

If you experience sickness symptoms in the form of fever, cough or respiratory problems you should immediately contact the health care via telephone number 1177. It is also 1177 you call if you are symptom free, but think you have been exposed to a contagious risk for the last 14 days.
* 1177 is the whole of Sweden’s gathering place for information and services in health and care. 1177 stands the Swedish healthcare system through all regions in collaboration.
What you should consider when staying in Wenell’s premises:
- Often wash your hands with soap and warm water, before meals and after a toilet visit.
Handwash can be an option when you do not have the option of hand washing.
- If necessary, cough in the arm fold or in a paper handkerchief, not in hands or out in the air.
- Avoid touching face, eyes or mouth to oneself or others.
For more information:
Wenell calls for calm about the situation and advises everyone to follow official sources of information about the situation and avoid spreading rumors.
If you have general questions about the Corona virus, you can call Sweden’s national information number 113 13.
