1. Who are Wenell?

In this policy Wenell Management AB, Org.nr: 556294-3943 is called Wenell and is a controller of personal data, while you or your company is called a user or customer.

Wenell is responsible for all information you provide in your contact with us which can be on the website, by phone, email, chat or directly, on any of our courses, seminars, fairs or by other means.

2. What is the scope of this personal data policy

This policy applies to users who visit and/or trade on the website https://www.wenell.se. It also applies to the use of any of our courses, Apps, home page sand/or services as well as our social media channels.

Personal information is information that individually or in combination with other information can be used to identify you as a user as a physical living person. For example, your name, email address, or phone number.

3. Data that Wenell collects and how it is used
Wenell acts as a data controller in these cases.

Our primary purpose for processing your personal data is to enable Wenell to fulfill commitments to you as a user/customer, but we also collect information about you as a presumptive customer and who would like to be contacted by us.

As a data controller, Wenell is responsible for ensuring that your personal information is processed securely and that GDPR is followed. We do not process sensitive personal data unless there is specific consent to do so.

4. Security

Wenell protects your personal data through a combination of technical and organizational solutions. Access systems are required for access to all Wenell’s systems that handle personal data. Employees of Wenell, processors and contractors shall follow Wenell’s internal information security policy

Personal data submitted to Wenell without the request will not be saved for more than one month, except for spontaneous applications and support or contract issues.

5. Wenell as Personal Data Processor

Should Wenell act as a Personal Data Processor for you as a user of any of our services, a Personal Data Processor Agreement between you as a user and Wenell is required. We may provide a proposal for this or you may choose to write your own. Wenell acts in accordance with the instructions attached to our proposal for the Personal Data Processor Agreement.

6. Contractors to Wenell Management AB

Wenell uses contractors for many of our services and cloud solutions. Wenell undertakes to have a Personal Data Processing Agreement with all contractors and that these, in addition to comply with GDPR, also complies with Wenell’s integrity, availability and security requirements described in Wenell’s internal policy documents.

7. How we use cookies

Wenell’s home page contains Cookies. These are small text files that are placed on a computer by the Web server. Cookies act as an ID and make the website work in the best possible way.

Cookies are saved on your computer when booking a course and ordering books on the website. Cookies are also used to give you a personalized experience on our website and for the website to work in the best way.

Wenell uses cookies to improve the experience on the website in the following ways:

  • We check how the website is used by monitoring traffic patterns. We can thus design the page to give you as a user the best experience
  • We collect and analyze behavioral data based on the use of website and services in order to improve the user experience and enable personalized communication and message to the user

There are two types of cookies and both are used on the Wenells website. One type, called a Permanent Cookie, saves a file that remains on the visitor’s computer for a specified time. When you visit wenell.se and wenell.com these are used to improve the site by collecting statistics on how a visitor uses the site, e.g. which articles are read most and how users navigate the site. The second type, Session Cookies, are stored temporarily in the computer’s memory while a visitor is on any of our webb pages. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Our website uses session cookies to manage information that you provide when you use Wenell’s services.

You can also set your browser so that you will be asked each time the website tries to place a cookie on your computer. The Wenell website also uses third-party cookies from, among others, Google Analytics. The purpose is to understand how our site is used and to improve it. Please note that if you block cookies you will not be able to use all features of the Wenell website.

8. How is personal data used in direct marketing?

Wenell uses direct marketing to provide relevant suggestions and offerings for those who have been on a course with us or registered an interest in receiving our newsletter. We also use direct marketing to provide you with information when there is some news about your areas of interest.

Wenell follows ethical guidelines in the field of direct marketing.

9. Transfer of information

Wenell and its contractors save their information within the EU. Bookkeeping data is saved in Sweden or by the tax authority approved country. We do not sell any customer information to 3rd parties. Contact information needed for direct mail may be processed by our contractors.
