Håkan has +20 years of experience as a consultant and educator in leadership and business acumen, utilizing an action-oriented approach. He possesses extensive experience in driving challenging and business-critical training programs for clients in the USA, Brazil, India, Europe, and the Nordics. He is often engaged to develop and conduct training as a crucial part of clients’ change journeys. One of Håkan’s strengths lies in tangibly linking strategy and overarching business goals to practical applications in day-to-day work. He excels at helping individuals and teams understand how their daily behaviors and activities align with and contribute to the organization’s overall delivery.
Håkan is known for establishing a trusting and secure environment in his programs, motivating participants to challenge themselves and their work methods. He places a premium on action and equips participants with the tools that empower them to take control of processes and align them with colleagues and established business objectives.

Background

Håkan comes from a background in the forestry industry and early in his career, he focused on developing people’s competencies and communication in professional life. He also draws extensively on his experiences as a work supervisor, service salesperson, and project manager in education and forestry projects.
In 2001, he transitioned to consultancy work and began working internationally on group-wide programs in senior leadership development and corporate culture tied to clients’ change journeys.
For 15 years, he operated as a partner and co-founder of a consulting company, undertaking assignments in business acumen, leadership, and change management. Projects for both small and large companies were conducted across North and South America, Europe, Asia, as well as throughout Sweden.
In addition to his forestry education, Håkan has completed numerous courses and certifications, including being certified as a PRINCE2® Practitioner and Prosci Certified Change Practitioner.
