Background
David is a UK citizen, born in Jamaica, and holds a B.A. (HONS.). He studied to become a pilot in the RAF, where he served for 7 years. He worked at Volvo Car Corporation in Gothenburg in production, marketing, and project management before he packed his bags and went to Belgium, where he worked for an English consultant company, and then went back home to the UK. There he worked as a training consultant in both the project and the management sphere for clients in many different industries, including the public and private sector. While in England, he developed his own project model (RPM) and gave lectures in Operations Management at Sunderland University.
Focus
At Wenell, David works on project management and team development, mostly in connection with client specific assignments, but also on open courses. These assignments largely consist of consultant support to individuals, projects, or organisations. Naturally, it also includes courses in structure and relationship skills. He is an appreciated and enthusiastic trainer, able to create interest and engagement in the roles as a consultant and as a trainer. David continues to work together with a broad customer base but is mostly hired by businesses in automotive, engineering, and pharmaceutical development. His many years of international experience lead to many assignments overseas in conjunction with multinational/global projects.
