You have better opportunities to get the most interesting and exiting managerial jobs being a certified project manager. Demands for certified project managers at employment and in connection with procurement of entire projects and project management are getting more and more common.
The PMP® certificate is an internationally recognized proof of project management competence. It is issued by Project Management Institute (PMI) in the USA. To attain the PMP® title it is required that you meet high demands for experience and training as well as that you pass the PMP® examination. This exam prep course will prepare for the exam with minimum studying after class.
Purpose
- To prepare you to obtain your PMP® exam, which is provided by the Project Management Institute PMI®
- To teach you project terminology in accordance with PMI®
- To give you detailed knowledge about processes and areas described
in PMBOK®
- To develop your own strategy in order to pass the exam
Format
This intensive 4-day, no study course is designed to completely prepare you for the PMP® exam in a fun and effective manner – with no or minimal study required after class! In addition to unique games and activities, there are exercises and techniques designed specifically to increase both learning and knowledge retention, giving students not only the knowledge they need to pass the exam in only four days, but also to become a better project manager – without rote memorization.
You must have either
- 35 hrs formal project leader training + university/bachelors degree + 4,500 hrs project management experience, or
- 35 hrs formal project leader training + High school diploma + 7,500 hrs project management experience
You must have at least some exposure to
- Procurement management
- Earned value
- Risk management
Target group
Experienced Project managers with several years experience from heading medium size projects who wants to raise their competence level and obtain a receipt for their accomplishments.
Scope
Four full days. Max 20 participants.
Day 1-3: 8.15 a.m. – 5.30 p.m.
Day 4: 8.00 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.
